Hypnosis for Health
and Well-Being
WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?
Hypnosis is a state of heightened and focused concentration. It is a very deep form of relaxation in which positive changes are suggested to the subconscious mind, a process which by-passes the critical, analytical conscious mind.
You are mentally alert, physically relaxed, extremely aware and you are in complete control during your hypnotherapy session. You cannot, and never will, be compelled to do or say anything under hypnosis that is in conflict with your personal ethical standards and or desire.
Hypnosis involves guided imagery and concentration. The guidance may be provided by a qualified practitioner or sometimes, in the case of self-hypnosis, by the individual. Self-hypnosis which can be taught by a properly certified hypnotherapist and learned by most people, can provide a person with a lifetime of benefit.
